Standoff/arrest: A man charged in a warrant with shooting his wife was arrested last night after barricading himself for four hours in a friend's home in the 5800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. in Ramblewood. Police fired tear gas into the house about 7:30 p.m., entered and arrested Chauncey Scott, 30, of the 900 block of Reverdy Road. Scott is accused of shooting Wanda Scott, 35, in the shoulder in their home early Wednesday. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.
Robbery: Robbery: Two men were walking in the 500 block of N. Stricker St. about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday when three other men, one with a handgun, robbed one of them of the keys to his white four-door 1995 Infiniti Q45. The robbers drove off in the car, which was spotted by police on Edmondson Avenue a short time later. After a brief pursuit, the robbers abandoned the vehicle in the 500 block of N. Calhoun St. when one of its front wheels fell off.
