Blast opens season here vs. Kansas City Oct. 20

The Blast will open its new National Professional Soccer League season at home against the Kansas City Attack, last season's Midwest Division champs, on Oct. 20.

The Blast, an American Conference finalist last season, will play 20 home games at Baltimore Arena this season, 18 on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.

The schedule includes two games with the league-champion Milwaukee Wave, at home on Dec. 29 and in Milwaukee on March 17.

Ticket prices range from $11 to $17. The schedule includes a variety of theme nights, including Soccer Mom Night, Elvis Night, Women in Soccer Night, and Scout Night. Four free post-game concerts are scheduled, as well, one after a Feb. 16 matchup with the Cleveland Crunch.

Season tickets and mini-plans are on sale by calling 410-73-BLAST. Single-game tickets also are on sale at the Arena box office and at Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster phone-charge at 410-481-SEAT. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.
