Theft/arrest: Detectives Anthony Vaeth and Timothy Galt were in the Royal Farms store in the 2700 block of Washington Blvd. Monday when they arrested a man who they say put several cans of dog food into a backpack and attempt to leave without paying. John Wayne Schlick, 38, of the 300 block of S. Bentalou St. was charged with theft and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Burglary: A microwave oven, steaks, seafood and hand tools, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Monday from Wah Po Chinese Carryout in the 2100 block of Frederick Ave.
Church burglary: A self-propelled lawnmower, weed eater, leaf blower and a hedge trimmer, all valued at more than $900, were stolen Monday from a storage shed at Good Shepherd Church of God in Christ in the 1700 block of Sexton St.
Stolen car: A 1999 Toyota Corolla with tags FGX 567 was stolen Monday in the 3400 block of E. Lombard St.
Stolen car: A green 4-door 1994 Acura with tags EMZ 729 was stolen Monday in the 3900 block of Dorchester Road.
Burglary: A 13-inch screen television valued at nearly $100 was stolen Monday from Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in the 5900 block of Reisterstown Road.
Burglary: Clothing and food, all valued at $300, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of Olive St.
Burglary: A cordless television valued at $80 was stolen yesterday from a house in the first block of N. Monroe St.
Robbery: Two men, one armed with a shotgun and the other with an assault rifle, robbed Gibby's Seafood Restaurant in the first block of W. Padonia Road in Timonium about 10:35 p.m. Sunday. They entered through a back door, following an employee who had emptied the trash and forced the manager into a rear office where he gave them an undisclosed sum of money from a safe. The robbers also took a 9 mm Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun and $150 from a cash register. They left by a side door and were seen driving toward Interstate 83 in a 4-door gray or blue Lincoln Town Car.,
Burglary: A coin collection valued at $10,000, an undisclosed sum of cash, a compact disc player and a video camera were stolen Monday from a house in the 3400 block of North Trail Way.
Burglary: Tools valued at more than $1,500 were stolen from the Emerald Tavern in the 8300 block of Harford Road over the weekend.
