Drug arrest: Police were in the 1100 block of N. Stockton St. about 6:25 p.m. Saturday when they heard a young male yell "Time out!" - street slang meaning police are in the area. After spotting a man on a bicycle place what appeared to be capsules in his pants, police followed him to the 1200 block of Riggs Ave., where he jumped off the bicycle and started running. Officers caught him and seized 30 capsules of suspected cocaine and $30. Eugene Edwards, 39, of the 4300 block of Seminole Ave. was charged with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Robbery try/arrests: A man, 18, was in the 3300 block of McElderry St. about 12:20 a.m. Saturday when two men attempted to rob him. The victim resisted and they fled. A short time later in the 600 block of N. Clinton St. nearby, police stopped two men who fit the descriptions of the suspects and arrested them. Myrick Channing, 18, of the 300 block of N. Glover St., and Dominic Jones, 20, of the 1000 block of Homewood Ave. were charged with attempted unarmed robbery and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Robbery: A woman, 23, was about to enter her car in the 5400 block of Clover Road about 7:40 p.m. Friday when a man, who implied he was armed with a handgun, reached into the vehicle and took her purse. After a brief struggle, during which the victim tore the robber's shirt and took his hat, he escaped with the purse that contained cash and property, all valued at $300.
Theft: Power and hand tools, all valued at $500, were stolen Saturday from the front porch of a house in the 100 block of E. Randall St.
Theft: Police were seeking a woman who entered a house in the 1600 block of N. Caroline St. early Saturday and stole a Bursa .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun and a cellular phone, all valued at nearly $500.
Burglary/assault: After a man broke into a house in the first block of Ferns Court about 11:30 p.m. Friday, police found a credit card receipt from a restaurant that he left at the scene and traced him to a house in the 11000 block of Berans Road in Lutherville. There, police interviewed the man and arrested him when they noticed he had a fresh cut on one hand, having injured himself on a broken window. Joseph J. Muehleisen, 49, of the Berans Road address, was charged with burglary and released on bail.
North Point Precinct
Burglary/arrest: A man broke into an apartment in the 2900 block of Yorkway about 8 p.m. Saturday and attacked a woman, then assaulted two police officers as they arrested him. James J. Elinger, 31, of the 2900 block of Sollers Point Road was charged with burglary, and assaulting the woman and Officers Anthony DiCarla and Donald Montgomery.
Stabbing: A man, 19, was stabbed in the right side during a fight about 2 a.m. Saturday outside a nightclub in the 1900 block of Eastern Blvd. He was in good condition yesterday at Franklin Square Hospital.
