Monford, Harris advance at Mind Over Machines
Mind Over Machines Inc. appointed Ron Monford as chief executive officer and Kenneth Harris as director of business development.
Monford, a Baltimore resident, was chief operating officer of men's clothing firm J. Schoeneman Inc. prior to joining the Lutherville-based information technology company last year as president. Harris, formerly a lead technical consultant with Corporate Technology Group, is an Air Force veteran and a graduate of Baltimore City Community College.
MPT names Tauriello online producer
Maryland Public Television named David J. Tauriello as online producer. He is responsible for Web site and page development for its MPT Learning Works. Before joining MPT, he taught in Frederick County public schools and was a Webmaster for Pennsylvania State University. The Walkersville resident holds a master's degree in education from Northeastern University.
Shein, Macchiavelli, Remsberg join Imre agency
Imre & Associates LLC hired Keira N. Shein as an account supervisor, Melissa Macchiavelli as an account executive and Brian Remsberg as a junior account executive at the Towson-based marketing communications and public relations agency.
Shein, a graduate of Ithaca College, oversees the firm's high-technology division. She had been public relations director for MDAnywhere.com. Macchiavelli previously was an investor relations program manager for Criimi Mae Inc., a real estate investment trust. Remsberg, newly graduated from Purdue University, interned with the Detroit Tigers baseball franchise.
Mooy, Burkhart take posts at Gray, Kirk/VanSant
Gray, Kirk/VanSant Advertising and Public Relations Inc. named Joel Mooy associate creative director and Brian Burkhart senior art director for the Baltimore-based agency.
Mooy, who studied at the University of California at Los Angeles and the University of Maryland, had been with Arnold Communications. Burkhart joins the agency from August, Lang & Kusack.
Weil accounting firm names Tremblay principal
Weil, Akman, Baylin & Coleman PA named Michele Tremblay a principal of the Timonium-based public accounting firm. A board member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, she is also active in the Executive Women's Network. She joined the firm in 1985 as a staff accountant and holds a master's degree in taxation from the University of Baltimore.
