Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Burglary: Someone entered Wong's Carryout in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. through a third-floor window Tuesday and stole a microwave oven, telephone, compact disc player and packages of shrimp and chicken, all valued at nearly $600.

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of Greek currency and $400 in U.S. currency were stolen yesterday from a house in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. The resident had apparently returned from a recent vacation in Greece.

Arson: Someone entered a vacant house in the 1600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Tuesday and set fires on the first and second floors, causing $500 damage to the dwelling's interior.

Stolen car: A 1994 Hyundai with temporary tags 361935 was stolen Tuesday in the 1700 block of W. Baltimore St.

Southern District

Robbery: A man, 19, was riding his mo-ped in the 2400 block of Kent St. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when another man struck him with his fist and stole the bicycle, valued at $500.

Eastern District

Robbery: After a man placed four packs of camera film on the counter at CVS pharmacy in the 2000 block of Harford Ave. about noon Tuesday, he implied he was armed with a handgun and forced a cashier to give him the contents of a cash register. The man fled with $100 and the film.

Robbery: A man, 46, was walking across the yard at Cecil Elementary School in the 2000 block of Cecil Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday when another man armed with an unknown weapon robbed him of a jacket, keys and his wallet containing $22.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player valued at $200 was stolen Tuesday from a 1990 Volkswagen parked on the third level of a parking garage in the 600 block of N. Caroline St.

Northwestern District

Student robbed: A 17-year-old male student at Forest Park High School was walking home in the 4300 block of Chatham Road after classes Tuesday afternoon when two men, one who implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed him of a 24-inch gold chain, a book bag and his eyeglass case, all valued at $300.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Fifty compact discs valued at $500 were stolen from a house in the 1600 block of N. Hilton St. on Tuesday by someone who entered through a side window.

Burglary: Tools valued at $270 were stolen from a shed in the 3000 block of Strickland St. on Tuesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Assaults: A man and his ex-girlfriend were baby-sitting for a mutual friend in the 1200 block of Linkside Drive on Tuesday afternoon when they began arguing and stabbed each other. Police said the children were not injured. Police said the man was treated at Sinai Hospital for stomach wounds and the woman, 30, was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for wounds to the torso and back. Charges against the pair were pending.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Cartons of cigarettes valued at $1,126 were stolen from Parkville Texaco Service Center in the 8400 block of Harford Road on Tuesday by someone who entered after breaking the glass front door.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 31, was sitting on a bench in the 12000 block of Reisterstown Road about 8:30 p.m. Monday when one of two men threw a jacket over her head, struck her in the face and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at about $50.

Robbery: Three men, one armed with handgun, robbed a man, 18, of more than $60 in the 12000 block of Reisterstown Road about 11 p.m. Monday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Stolen car: A green 2000 Ford van with tags M507848 was stolen in the 3100 block of Jeffrey Road on Sept. 1. The theft was reported Tuesday.

For the record

Victim named: Police identified yesterday Thomas Booker, 21, of the 4100 block of Massachusetts Ave. as the man fatally shot Monday night in the 900 block of Jack St. in Southern Baltimore while being chased by several men after an altercation. No arrest had been made.
