Two teen-agers were arrested Sunday and charged in the Aug. 26 shooting of a 14-year-old Govans boy, police said yesterday.
Barry Allen, 16, of the 1200 block of Lynworth Ave. was charged as an adult with attempted murder and was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center on unspecified bail, said Sgt. Scott Rowe, a police spokesman.
Rowe said a 14-year-old boy was charged as a juvenile with first-degree assault and was being held at the Charles H. Hickey Jr. School in Baltimore County.
Paul Mouzon, 14, was shot in the chest with a .22-caliber rifle near his home in the 800 block of Glenwood Ave. He was released Aug. 29 from Johns Hopkins Hospital. Rowe said the shooting was the result of a dispute.
