Central District

Burglary / arrest: A man, 33, was arrested Tuesday inside Have A Nice Day Cafe in the first block of Market Place. No money was taken, but the man destroyed a cash register valued at $1,000. After an employee discovered the break-in, he flagged down a Southeastern District police officer who entered the cafe and arrested Donnell Gwaltney, 33, without incident. Gwaltney of no fixed address was charged with burglary and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Plymouth Neon with tags FDC 316 was stolen Tuesday from the 3900 block of Brooklyn Ave.

Theft: Tools valued at more than $250 were stolen Tuesday from the loading dock of a building in the 600 block of W. West St.

Stolen vehicle: A 1986 Renault with Virginia tags YTB 6961 was stolen Tuesday in the 3400 block of Shell Road.

Western District

Rape: A man forced a woman, 38, into a wooded area off the 900 block of Claymount Ave. about 1 a.m. Monday and raped her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Stolen vehicle: A 1992 Honda Accord with tags ABK 295 was stolen yesterday in the 2300 block of Braddish Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan with tags M419672 was stolen Tuesday in the 2700 block of Harlem Ave.

Eastern District

Theft / assault / arrest: Two security officers at the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 400 block of E. North Ave. were assaulted Tuesday while arresting a woman who tried to leave the store without paying for headache medicine valued at $15. Officers Lakeisha Brown and Shantell Martin were not seriously injured. Rose White, 46, of the 2600 block of Barclay St. was charged with theft and assault and was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Burgary: Someone entered a rowhouse in the 1300 block of N. Wolfe St. through a second-floor rear window Tuesday and stole clothing and several pieces of jewelry, all of which were of unknown value.

Burglary: An extension ladder, shop light and a cellular telephone, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen from a house being renovated in the 1000 block of N. Wolfe St. over the weekend.

Southwestern District

Theft: After shopping, a man returned to his home in the 3600 block of W. Franklin St. Tuesday and discovered nearly $300 was missing from a room and a male friend who had been staying with him was gone.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: An 18-speed mountain bicycle valued at nearly $200 was stolen Tuesday from the rear porch of a house in the 7300 block of Kathydale Road.

Burglary: A man broke the front window of Garrison Forest Wine & Spirits in the 11100 block of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills Tuesday and stole 10 bags of potato chips.

Burglary: Someone entered a house under construction in the first block of Gwynns Wood Road in Owings Mills over the weekend and stole a dishwasher valued at $300.

Stolen vehicle: A 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags ZSF 531 was stolen Tuesday in the 9300 block of Reisterstown Road.

Burglary: Someone entered Antwerpen Dodge in the 3600 block of Brenbrook Drive overnight Monday and removed four tires and wheels and a radio from a Dodge Neon and a radio from a Dodge Caravan; the items were of unknown value.
