East Columbia

Spruce Run Court: 8600 block, Long Reach. A mattress and furniture were stolen from a house between noon and 9:05 p.m. Monday.

Dobbin Road: 6500 block, Owen Brown. Two young men wearing masks entered Ross Department Store between 6:30 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. Sunday. The men told employees to lie on the floor and took money from a safe. No one was hurt. The men are described as being between 18 and 22 years old with thin builds.

West Columbia

Morning Time Lane: 6300 block, River Hill. A purse and other items were stolen from a residence shortly after 6 a.m. July 6. A door was broken.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Dorsey Hall Road: 7400 block, Ellicott City. A man entered a Mobil Station about 9:30 p.m. July 7, displayed a dark colored handgun to a clerk and announced a robbery. The clerk gave the man money. The man, described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and between the ages of 20 and 30 with a goatee, fled the store. No one was injured.

Washington Boulevard: 7400 block, Elkridge. A vehicle was stolen from Mexican Motors between 8 p.m. July 5 and 8 a.m. July 6.

North Laurel/Savage

Barrel House Road: 9600 block, North Laurel. A woman was attacked and robbed between 11:15 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. July 7. The victim was cut on the arm. A Woman took the victim's necklace and cellular telephone. The victim was treated at a hospital.
