A Littlestown, Pa., man was being held yesterday at the Carroll County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail after he was arrested on charges of sexually abusing a boy in Taneytown during the past 18 months, court records show.
The man, 40, was charged on counts of child abuse, third-degree sexual offense, child pornography and possession of child pornography. The man is not being named and his relationship to the boy is being withheld to protect the boy's privacy.
According to charging documents, the alleged offenses occurred between Jan. 1, 1999 and June 1 in the boy's bedroom. Investigators reported finding video equipment directed toward the boy's bed. Other video equipment was found in the family bathroom.
