Baltimore City

Western District

Arrest: Officers Chris Faller and Kelly Harrison were in the 1100 block of Riggs Ave. about 10 a.m. Saturday when they saw a man trying to throw two handguns and a bag onto the roof of a house. A .22-caliber revolver and the bag fell to the ground. A .380-caliber semiautomatic landed on the roof and was recovered, with the bag and the .22. In the bag were 400 vials of suspected cocaine or heroin. Tavon Davis, 18, of the 600 block of Denison St. was charged with handgun violations and possession of illegal drugs.

Southeastern District

Burglary/arrest: Police responding to a burglary at Bohager's Bar & Grill in the 500 block of S. Eden St. entered a bathroom Monday and found a man with $270 worth of liquor taken from the bar. Darren Jaworski, 36, of the 400 block of S. Wolfe St. was charged with burglary.

Robbery: A male, 17, was in the 3300 block of Fait Ave. about 5 a.m. Sunday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of $20.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, robbed Sicily Pizza in the 3100 block of Wilkens Ave. of $40 about 11:10 p.m. Monday.

Northern District

Robbery/try: A man, 55, was seated at a computer in his house in the 4000 block of Derby Manor Drive about 2 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife entered through the front door and demanded money. During a struggle, the armed man tried to stab the occupant and threw a floor fan at him. The intruder fled when the victim struck him with a crutch. No property or money was reported stolen.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A two-door 1989 Mercury with tags EYW 897 was stolen during the weekend in the 2400 block of W. Pratt St.

Western District

Stolen car: A four-door 1990 Plymouth with tags CLF 937 was stolen yesterday in the 1500 block of W. Lexington St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A 19-inch television, two lamps, a videocassette recorder, stereo equipment, telephone and a Caller ID, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 3900 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. The thief entered through a door.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A man, 63, was walking to his car outside Monaghan's Pub in the 2100 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday when a gunman demanded his money. The gunman fled with the victim's wallet that contained no money.

North Point Precinct

Rape try/arrest: A woman, 29, was walking in the 8000 block of Stansbury Road about 6 a.m. Monday when she was stopped by a man who asked her for cigarettes and money. When the woman said she had neither, the man forced her into a woods near Dundalk Middle School and tried to rape her. He then robbed her of more than $150 and a cellular phone. After police received information about a suspect, they entered a nearby house and arrested a man, 30, and charged him with attempted rape, assault and robbery. His name was not available.

Burglary: Power tools and lawn care equipment, all valued at more than $300, were stolen from a storage locker in the basement of an apartment building in the 8200 block of N. Boundary Road between June 1 and Monday.

Arrest: Donte Long, 20, of the 700 block of E. 41st. St., was arrested at home Monday by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the death June 8 of Nathaniel Burton, 20, in the 3700 block of Old York Road. Burton of the 600 block of Cator Ave. was shot after a dispute.

Arrest: Jason Watson, 19, of the 7400 block of St. Patricia Court in Dundalk was arrested at home Monday by city and county police on a first-degree murder warrant in the deaths June 7 of Otis Wylie, 48, and Herbert Poole, 44. The victims were found beaten to death in separate rooms in the home they shared in the 1300 block of N. Chester St. No motive was known.

Arrest: City police arrested Kirk Vanderhall, 49, Monday at his home in the 1400 block of Bloomingdale Road on a warrant charging him in the fatal shooting May 3 of Eric Antonio Ashby, 30. The victim was shot near his home in the 2900 block of Belmont Ave. and died the next day at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No motive was known.
