Bob Ward Cos. names Veach executive VP, general manager

Bob Ward Companies, the third-largest builder of new homes in the Baltimore area, announced that Linda Veach has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager.

Veach, a Timonium resident who joined the Bel Air-based homebuilder in 1995, previously served as senior vice president and, before that, as director of marketing. In her new position, Veach is responsible for overall management of the company's homebuilding operations.

"Under Linda's leadership, I know this success can and will continue," said company President Robert C. Ward. Veach holds a bachelor of arts degree from Loyola College of Maryland and a master of science degree in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University.
