An man and three teen-agers have been arrested and charged with using two paintball guns and a BB-gun to assault a woman and vandalize 20 cars over the weekend, Baltimore County police said yesterday.
Police said a woman standing next to her car in the first block of Tollgate Road in Owings Mills was struck in the back by a paintball.
The woman and another witness told police that they saw a group of people in a car drive away. At least one person in the car was holding a paintball gun, the witnesses told police.
On Owings Mills Boulevard, a patrol officer pulled over a car matching the description witnesses gave police, said Cpl. Vickie Warehime, a county police spokeswoman. Inside the car, she said, police found two paintball guns, a BB-gun and cartridges of propellant used on paintball guns.
Charging documents say police received 20 destruction-of-property complaints in the Garrison Precinct from Friday night to Sunday night.
In most cases, a car parked on the street was struck with paintballs or BBs. Police also charged the suspects with damaging Sacred Heart School and a pizza restaurant during the weekend, according to the documents.
Police identified those charged as:
Jeffrey Nievod, 18, of the 300 block of Cockeys Mill Road, 20 counts of destruction of property and one count of assault. He was released on $50,000 bail.
Marques Oliver, 16, of the 600 block of St. Georges Station Road, 20 counts of destruction of property and one count of assault. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Garrison Precinct.
Amber Bresnick, 17, of the first block of Talfourd Court, 20 counts of destruction of property and one count of assault. She was released on $35,000 bail.
Gontalo Sanchez, 17, of the 200 block of Sacred Heart Lane, four counts of destruction of property and one count of assault. He was released on his own recognizance.
