Two concerts scheduled Wednesdays in Sykesville
Uptown Concerts is sponsoring Wednesday performances by folk musicians at Baldwin's Station in Sykesville.
Greg Greenway and Tom Prasada-Raoperform tomorrow. Greenway's performances have brought him critical acclaim. Prasada-Rao's music ranges from jazz to traditional Indian music. Tickets are $14.
Modern Man takes the stage May 31. The trio of David Buskin, Rob Carlson and George Wurzbach offers original songs with humor and a range of topics. This show was canceled by snow in January and is sold out. January tickets will be honored.
Shows are at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Library offers programs for children, new parents
Eldersburg library branch, 6400 W. Hemlock Drive, is offering:
"KidWorks,"for ages 9 and older, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Youths will prepare and present programs for younger children.
"Basic Internet Training: What Is the Internet and What Can It Do for Me?" for ages 18 and older at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
"Great Expectations: Your Baby, Your Library and You" at 2 p.m. Saturday. New and expecting parents will be given a library orientation and tour. No registration is required.
