Record jackpot winners in Ill. to be revealed today
CHICAGO -- A still-unnamed Illinois family holds the second winning ticket to the record-breaking $363 million lottery jackpot that was drawn more than a week ago, lottery officials said yesterday.
The mystery winners sharing the biggest lottery prize in U.S. history will be introduced at a news conference tomorrow at a Chicago hotel.
They were identified only as a family from Lake County, which lies north of Chicago in the same county as the store where the "Big Game" lottery ticket was purchased. The other winners sharing in the jackpot were a Michigan family from Shelby Township who accepted their check three days after the May 9 drawing.
