In the race prior to the Pimlico Special, 11 3-year-olds will line up to contest the 27th running of the Hirsch Jacobs Stakes.
The 6-furlong dash, worth $75,000-added, is a wide-open affair that has attracted several newcomers to the local crowd. Trainer Ben Perkins Jr. has entered Max's Pal, unbeaten this year until he met Grade III runners in the Gotham Stakes.
The win and place finishers of Delaware Park's Zwaanendal Stakes were also on the shippers list. Stormin Oedy upset the Delaware event as a 11-to-1 shot, while the favorite, Sejm Boogie, finished second.

Rangeley Lady, a former claimer who developed into a stakes winner under the care of trainer Tony Dutrow, heads the field for the sixth running of the Skipat Stakes.
The Skipat, to be contested over 6 furlongs, also carries a $75,000 purse and is sprinkled with capable shippers from Delaware and New York.
Rangeley Lady was claimed at Laurel last December for $25,000 and has gone on to win the Toes Knows and Primonetta stakes. In six outings in her new stable, the 6-year-old daughter of Carnivalay has finished no worse than second.
Her main opposition is likely to come from Lily's Affair, a Delaware Park-based filly who crashed the stakes ranks at Gulfstream Park last winter. Her most recent outing was a game second in the Late Bloomer Stakes at Delaware Park.
Deer Creek Lassie, Changing Seasons, Fine Wood, Worton Point, Angeline Capote and Elektraline complete the field.
