Seneca Farm Road: 6600 block, Kings Contrivance. An abandoned house was broken into April 13 and used as a spot for teen-agers to drink alcohol.
Woodstove Lane: 5200 block, Oakland Mills. Someone smashed the glass on a door April 12 and stole jewelry.
Harpers Farm Road: 5300 block, Harper's Choice. A man reported to police that he had traded a cellular phone for crack cocaine April 13. After the trade, he canceled his phone service. On Friday, he told police, he saw the drug dealer with whom he had traded; the drug dealer punched him in the face and took his money.
Tamar Drive: 8700 block, Long Reach. A 28-year-old man reported to police that three men broke into his apartment Saturday and robbed him of money. One of the men threatened him with a handgun and hit him on the head. The victim's rental car also was stolen.
Hickory Ridge Road: 10200 block, Hickory Ridge. An 18-year-old man was robbed of his book bag and electronic equipment April 13. Police said the three people approached the victim at 9 p.m. and demanded the book bag. The victim refused, and one of his assailants took out a gun and threatened him. The victim grabbed the weapon out of the gunman's hand, and a fight broke out. The gunman hit the victim in the head with a club, and another of the assailants threatened the victim with a rifle. The one with the rifle fired a shot as the victim was running away. The assailants took the book bag with money and electronic equipment in it. The victim was treated for a cut on his head at Howard County General Hospital and was released. Police recovered a small starter pistol that the victim had taken from one of the thieves. West Springs Drive: 3100 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered an unlocked apartment April 14 and stole a guitar.
All Saints Road: 9300 block, North Laurel. Police arrested three people Friday and charged them with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Officers served a search warrant at a home and said they found 1 ounce of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $600 in cash. Arrested were William Alfred Thompson, 51, Darlene Funn, 46, and Bernard Thompson, 59, all of the 9300 block of All Saints Road, police said.
Haddaway Court: 9500 block, North Laurel. The state fire marshal's office is investigating a truck fire that occurred Saturday. A neighbor saw a 1984 Ford pickup truck on fire in the carport of a home. Firefighters extinguished the blaze before it spread to the home.
Sylvan Still: 9500 block, North Laurel. Intruders broke into an apartment April 12 and stole money, photos and a computer.
