Arson: Someone threw a Molotov cocktail onto the rear porch of a house in the 1000 block of Wicklow Road about 12: 30 a.m. Sunday, causing more than $500 damage.
Theft from vehicle: A videocassette recorder and two leather coats, all valued at $500, were stolen Saturday from a car parked in the 300 block of S. Bentalou St.
Shooting: A male, 17, was standing outside his home in the 1600 block of N. Durham St. about 1 p.m. Sunday when he heard at least six gunshots and ran inside. There, he discovered he had been shot in the right ankle. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released. It was not known if the incident was connected to the nonfatal shootings of a man and a woman in the same block about 10 a.m. Friday.
Theft of handgun: A .357 Magnum revolver with serial No. D734342 and valued at $500 was stolen Sunday from a storage trunk in the bedroom of a house in the 900 block of N. Castle St.
Carjacking: A man, 27, was about to enter his 1980 Ford pickup truck in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday when a gunman ordered him aside and drove off. The truck had tags 67D640.
Stolen handgun: A Bursa .380 semiautomatc handgun with serial No. 385604, bullets and at least two clips -- all valued at more than $400 -- were stolen Sunday from the bedroom of a house in the 5100 block of Nelson Ave.
Dog stolen: A 4-month-old pit bull terrier was stolen Sunday from the porch of a house in the 3500 block of Hayward Ave.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: Cash and groceries, all valued at $70, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 6800 block of Bessemer Ave.
Burglary: Hand and power tools were stolen from a house in the 700 block of Murdock Road over the weekend.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 20800 block of W. Liberty Road in White Hall over the weekend and stole a purse containing keys, cash and credit cards. A cell phone was stolen from the occupant's car. The loss was valued at more than $550.
Burglary: An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from an office safe at a McDonald's restaurant in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road during the weekend. The thief forced open the drive-through window.
