Robbery: Two robbers took more than $4,400 in cash and jewelry at gunpoint from a 68-year-old man about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of W. Cold Spring Lane.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 51, of $31 about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Hayward Ave.
Burglary: A 1992 Ford Tempo with tags GTZ 524, a 1998 Suzuki Swift with tags FNT 992 and a 27-inch screen television were stolen from Johny's Auto in the 4100 block of W. Belvedere Ave. between Saturday and Wednesday.
Burglary: Three fireplace mantels valued at $8,000 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2700 block of Maryland Ave.
Arrest: Sgt. James Butsky was struck in the face by a man with bleeding hands early Wednesday after the officer stopped him in the 10000 block of York Road. Moments later, Officers Pat McGlynn and Seung Pak arrested the man. An investigation found that four businesses on nearby Cranbrook Road had been burglarized. The man had more than $500 that police believe was stolen in the burglaries. Delton A. Bruce, 23, of Lumberton, N.C., was charged with four counts of burglary and assaulting a police officer. He was held on $10,500 bail.

Burglary: A Chinese-made .30-caliber SKS assault rifle, a scope and ammunition, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 100 block of King Charles Circle.
