Shooting: A man, 19, was in the 4800 block of Park Heights Ave. about 12: 35 p.m. Monday when a gunman shot him in the lower back. He ran south to the 3300 block of Woodland Ave., where he was found by police and taken by ambulance to Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available.
Robbery: A man was closing his salvage business in the 5000 block of Reisterstown Road about 5 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, assaulted him and robbed him of $600. He suffered minor injuries and was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.
Theft: Six boxes of new windows, valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from Central Transport in the 1300 block of Chesapeake Ave.
Theft: Tools valued at more than $400 were stolen Monday from a 1985 Volvo parked in the 1700 block of Cole St.
Burglary: A lawn mower, a hedge trimmer and a belt sander, all valued at $600, were stolen Monday from a shed in the 1000 block of Wilmington Ave.
Cutting: A man allegedly cut a boy, 13, in the upper left back with a knife about 8: 30 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of N. Montford Ave. The victim, who had allegedly assaulted the man's friend earlier, was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Burglary: A generator, paint, bolt cutters, an electric drill, an electric sander and surveying equipment were stolen Monday from a construction trailer parked in the 800 block of N. Haven St. At least two men were seen driving away in a gray and green pickup.
Burglary: Computer equipment and a fax machine, all valued at more than $6,000, were stolen Monday from PII Inc. in the 2100 block of St. Paul St.
Theft from vehicle: Clothing and dishes, all valued at nearly $150, were stolen from a 1997 Chevrolet parked Monday in the 2400 block of N. Calvert St.
White Marsh Precinct:
Robbery try: Two men entered a house in the 10900 block of Red Line Road early Monday and demanded money from an elderly male resident. The intruders threatened the man with a knife taken from the kitchen. The man resisted, and the intruders fled when he tried to spray one of them with a chemical irritant.
Burglary: An undisclosed large sum of money was stolen early Monday from Big Fat Daddy's pit beef stand in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway.
Burglary/arrest: A man charged with stealing two all-terrain vehicles from a garage in the 11500 block of Franklinville Road on Friday was arrested Monday by Officer Milton Duckworth. Edward Winkler, 20, of the 5300 block of Forge Road was processed at the county Detention Center.
Rape: After she was denied admission to a nightclub late Saturday, a Parkville girl, 17, and a male companion went to a motel in the 10000 block of Pulaski Highway, where he raped her. The girl was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. The man was being sought.
Burglary: An overhead projector and its mount, all valued at more than $5,000, were stolen between Friday and Monday from a classroom at Goucher College in the 1000 block of Dulaney Valley Road.
