The second discussion meeting on school equity sponsored by the Howard County Council is scheduled for 6 o'clock tonight in the council chamber in Ellicott City's George Howard Building. All five council members are participating.
After brief reports from participants at the Oct. 18 meeting, the public will have an opportunity to speak. Council members hope to discuss problems affecting older Columbia schools.
The meetings were started to determine why there is a public perception of inequities between older and newer county schools.
A third meeting is planned for Nov. 29.
