Battaglia to address problem of protecting children on Internet

Lynne A. Battaglia, U.S. attorney for Maryland, will discuss protecting children on the Internet at a meeting of the countywide Citizen Advisory Committee at 7 p.m today at the Board of Education, 2664 Riva Road in Annapolis.

Other scheduled speakers include H. Winship Wheatley, supervisor of transportation for county public schools, who will address school bus safety; and Nancy Galetsky, teacher specialist for continuing education, who will talk about alternative programs for students.

The citizen committee is a forum for public discussion of educational concerns.
