Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Shooting: A man, 33, was in the 3000 block of Harlem Ave. about 8 p.m. Sunday when a gunman said a few words to him and shot him in both arms as he tried to flee. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Shooting: A man in his 20s was shot in the right leg at Bond and Eager streets late Sunday night. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No other details were available.
Robbery: A man struck a man, 44, with a blackjack in the 600 block of E. Biddle St. about 10 p.m. Sunday and robbed him of his coat and money, all valued at more than $100.
Burglary: After climbing the fire escape of an adjoining dwelling and crossing over the roof, a thief entered a house in the 1500 block of E. Chase St. through a second-floor bathroom window Sunday and stole a 32-inch screen television, valued at more than $1,000.
Robbery: A woman, 50, was in the 600 block of N. Paca St. about 3: 15 p.m. Sunday when a man grabbed her around the neck and stole her purse containing cash and personal property, all valued at $40.
Theft: Jewelry valued at more than $3,000 was stolen Oct. 16 from a house in the 1500 block of Covington St. The theft was reported Sunday, and police believe a person known to the victims was responsible.
Burglary/arrest: A man breaking into Hollywood Video in the 1400 block of Martin Blvd. was captured on a surveillance camera early Sunday. When the store manager viewed the film, he recognized the intruder and called police. A 20-year-old employee of the store was arrested at his home and charged with burglary. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond at the county Detention Center. No property was reported missing.
Robbery: A gunman robbed two boys of their coats, together valued at $135, at Middleborough Road and Hadwick Drive about 11 p.m. Sunday and drove away in a red sports car.
Robbery try/stabbing: A woman, 35, on her way home from a convenience store was at Aberdeen Road and Loch Raven Boulevard about 1: 45 a.m. Sunday when a man placed a knife to her neck and demanded her money. When she said she had none, he stabbed her in the side and fled. She was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center for a wound that was not considered life-threatening.
Burglary: A man entered a garage in the first block of Wilderfield Court on Sunday and stole an 18-inch mountain bicycle valued at $500.
