Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Carjacking/arrest: A man, 51, was stopped at a traffic light in the 2700 block of E. Monument St. about 3 a.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, forced their way into the car, robbed him of $27 and told him to drive off, police said. They ordered him to stop a block away and were trying to force him into the trunk of his car when he spotted police and yelled for help. One man fled, but police caught the other after a brief foot chase. Marcus Patterson, 18, of the 2400 block of McElderry St. was charged with armed carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon, and processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center. A second man was being sought.

Robbery: A man known as "J. R." and three unidentified males assaulted a man, 22, in the 800 block of N. Collington Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday and robbed him of $60. They drove away in a green four-door Honda with unknown tags. They were being sought.

Southern District

Robbery: An unarmed man robbed the Subway sandwich shop in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. of more than $100 about 6: 40 p.m. Tuesday.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A Titan .380-caliber semiautomatic handgun with serial number B106366, computer equipment, a microwave oven, radio, tools and jewelry were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 200 block of S. Monastery Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player, 30 compact discs, a sleeping bag, a tent and a folding chair, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 1998 Jeep Wrangler parked in the driveway of a house in the 1200 block of Violet Ave.

Southeastern District

Theft: A woman tried to leave Santoni's food market in the 3800 block of E. Lombard St. without paying for $11 worth of health products Tuesday. After identifying herself, she was given a citation charging her with theft and ordering her to appear in court.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, robbed Dunkin' Donuts in the 1600 block of E. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 10: 40 a.m. Tuesday. The men drove away in a bluish-gray four-door car of unknown make.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A known man entered a house Tuesday in the 100 block of Ventnor Terrace and stole a 19-inch screen television, videocassette recorder and video games, all valued at nearly $800.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed the Royal Farms store in the 2700 block of Taylor Ave. of at least $200 about 10: 30 p.m. Monday.

Burglary: A 15-horsepower lawn tractor was stolen Tuesday from the yard of a house in the 6500 block of Sweet Air Road.

For the record

Arrest: Leonard Chase, 32, was arrested Tuesday in the 5400 block of Knell Ave. by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting of Eduardo Z. Aguas, 19, on April 11 in the 5200 block of Elmer Ave. in Pimlico. Chase is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
