Jeremiah Twomey, 58, car salesman, dog trainer
Jeremiah "Jerry" Twomey, a car salesman who often helped neighbors in need, died of a heart attack Friday at St. Joseph Medical Center. He was 58.
Mr. Twomey was born in Jackson Heights, N.Y., and graduated from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, N.Y., in 1959.
After graduation he went to work for his father, Daniel J. Twomey, at the family's restaurant in Long Island City, N.Y.
In 1970, he moved to Towson and worked as a trainer at Mr. Lucky Dog Training School on Reisterstown Road. In 1975, he joined Heritage Mazda as a salesman at its Owings Mills location.
His brother, Patrick T. Twomey of Oceanside, N.Y., said he enjoyed doing home repairs and spending time with his family.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. today at the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson.
In addition to his brother, he is survived by his wife, the former Margaret A. Milando; two sons, P. Michael Decker Jr. of Cockeysville and Daniel J. Twomey of Towson; three other brothers, Timothy F. Twomey of Bayside, N.Y., Daniel M. Twomey of Reisterstown and David A. Twomey of Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Mary M. Cutrone of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and an uncle, Michael Twomey of Youghal, Cork, Ireland.
