Fifteen people were shot in seven unrelated incidents in Baltimore between Saturday night and early yesterday, and police made an arrest in one of the shootings.
About 4: 45 a.m. yesterday, a 26-year-old resident of the 6800 block of Southern Cross Court in Baltimore County was shot by a man in the 3200 block of Presstman St. in West Baltimore. He was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
About 2: 15 a.m. yesterday, two men, one 25 and the other 22, were at a private party at Uncle Lee's Restaurant in the first block of South St. downtown when an argument broke out. Another man pulled a handgun and shot them, police said. The victims were treated at Shock Trauma.
About 2 a.m., a man, 26, was driving his car in the 800 block of N. Lakewood Ave. in East Baltimore when a gunman fired several shots, hitting him in the upper body, police said. An uninjured passenger drove him to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
About 12: 50 a.m., a gunman approached two men in the 700 block of N. Carey St. in West Baltimore and shot one in the face and the other in the groin, police said. The man shot in the face was in critical condition at Shock Trauma. Information about the second man was not available.
About 10: 20 p.m. Saturday, a woman fired several gunshots into a house in the 400 block of S. Pulaski St., wounding two teen-age boys and a woman, 20. Officer Vickie Mengel of the Southwestern District saw the incident and arrested the woman. One teen and the woman were treated and released at Shock Trauma, where the second teen was in good condition.
Felicia Williams, 18, of the 1600 block of N. Chapel St., was charged with three counts of first-degree assault and held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
About 5: 30 a.m. Saturday, a man was driving his car in the 400 block of W. Lombard St. when someone fired shots, hitting him at least once, police said. The driver lost control of the car. He was in critical condition yesterday at Shock Trauma.
About 3 a.m. Saturday, four men and a woman were in a car in the 3600 block of Old York Road in Govans when a man on a bicycle opened fire with a handgun, hitting all five. Police said the wounded driver drove to Union Memorial Hospital, where the victims were treated for nonlife-threatening wounds.
