Stabbing/carjacking: Two men were sitting in a 1996 Jeep Cherokee in the 900 block of Cathedral St. about 2: 20 a.m. yesterday when two men with knives demanded their money. The victims resisted and during a struggle, the driver, 40, was stabbed twice in the chest. The victims were ordered out of the vehicle and the robbers drove off with the Jeep, which was recovered in the 800 block of W. Saratoga St. The driver was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Stabbing: A woman, 50, was stabbed in the abdomen Friday by a man she knows but didn't report the incident to police until she was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment the next day. She was in critical but stable condition yesterday. A warrant was issued charging Ruffin Jefferson, 44, of the 4800 block of Northwood Drive with first-degree assault.
Assault: A boy, 9, was riding a bicycle in the 2100 block of Barclay St. about 2 p.m. Friday when the driver of a passing red car pointed a handgun at him.
Theft: A radar detector and 200 compact discs were stolen Saturday from a 1998 Toyota Takoma parked in the 1000 block of N. Broadway.
Robbery: A woman, 30, was in the bedroom of her house in the 1500 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 4 a.m. Saturday when her ex-boyfriend entered and robbed her of a gold chain valued at $100.
Assault: A gunman forced a man, 38, into an alley off the 1600 block of N. Montford Ave. about 4 a.m. Saturday and struck him over the head with the weapon. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.
Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 19, of cash and property, all valued at $50, in the 1100 block of Bonaparte Ave. Friday.
Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed a woman of more than $400 Thursday in the 1000 block of N. Rutland Ave. The woman told police she was in a house in the 1000 block of N. Montford Ave. and playing cards with several other people when a man took her rent money from her shirt pocket then put it back. Later, she was on her way to a bank near the house when a man cut her with a sharp object and robbed her of the money. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.
Burglary: A cellular phone valued at $50 was stolen Saturday from a car parked in a garage in the first block of Midvale Road.
Theft from vehicle: A Minolta 500-X1 35 mm camera with a 200 mm lens was stolen Saturday from a 2000 Dodge Durango parked in the 200 block of Kimble Road.
Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the 700 block of St. Johns Road.
Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $200 was stolen Saturday from a 1994 Dodge Spirit parked in the 3100 block of Ellerslie Ave.
Burglary: A videocassette recorder and other property, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2600 block of N. Calvert St.
Burglary: A blue 26-inch mountain bicycle valued at $400 was stolen from a garage in the 200 block of Folkstone Road in Timonium between Tuesday and Saturday.
Burglary: A 26-inch blue mountain bicycle valued at about $200 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the first block of Greenridge Road.
