Mark McGwire has played on his birthday eight times, and has three homers. Jon Lieber topped 200 innings for the first time in his career. Shortstop Edgar Renteria had two errors, and leads the team with 26.

Dodgers: Mark Grudzielanek (.326) is trying to become the first Dodgers shortstop to hit over .300 since Maury Wills hit .302 in 1963.
