"I am writing about my favorite Dr. Seuss book, 'Green Eggs and Ham.' I like that book because I like to rhyme a lot. As you can see, this is my favorite Dr. Seuss book."

-- Roderick L. Eubanks Jr.

Havre de Grace Elementary

"My favorite book is 'Pinkerton, Behave!' by Steven Kellogg. It is about a Great Dane named Pinkerton who does everything wrong. When he is told to fetch, come and get the burglar, he does everything backwards. In the end, he still saves the day because he knocks the gun out of the burglar's hand and jumps out the window with him. Pinkerton to the rescue."

-- Jackson Frazier

Mount Washington Elementary

"My favorite book is 'The Rattlebone Rock' by Sylvia Andrews. It was a very funny story with ghosts, bats, skeletons, witches and ghouls who wake up the whole town with the music of the Rattlebone Rock. The whole town went to the graveyard to see what was going on there. Everyone had fun and to this day everyone talks about the night that the graveyard rocked."
