Pleasant Valley: Firefighters responded at 1: 38 p.m. Monday to wires on fire in the 1900 block of Frizzellburg Road. Units were out 24 minutes.

Taneytown: Firefighters from Taneytown, Harney, Union Bridge, Kingsdale and Littlestown, Pa., and Emmitsburg responded at 8: 01 a.m. Monday to smoke in a building in the first block of E. Main St. Units were out 13 minutes.
