East Columbia
Watchlight Court: 9000 block, Owen Brown. A thief entered a house between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday through a sliding door and stole a 27-inch television.
Old Columbia Road: 10200 block, Kings Contrivance. A thief broke a glass front door at 12: 30 a.m. Thursday, set off a business alarm and stole unknown items.
Benson Drive: 8300 block, Owen Brown. An intruder entered a business at 5 a.m. Thursday, pried open the portable automated teller machine and stole an unknown amount of cash.
Summer Cloud Way: 6400 block, Long Reach. Two intruders entered a home Sunday at 5: 40 a.m. through an open garage and unlocked door and stole two wallets, a purse and keys. The thieves then stole a truck from the garage.
Tamar Drive: 8100 block, Long Reach. A thief entered a home Sunday between midnight and 9 a.m. through an open garage and unlocked interior door, and stole a purse and keys.
West Columbia
Lynx Lane: 5400 block, Wilde Lake. A thief entered a business between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday and stole an empty cash register.
Cedar Lane: 7300 block, Harper's Choice. A thief removed a window pane from a rear door at 2 a.m. Thursday, unlocked two deadbolt locks and stole a chain latch.
Kiteline Court: 6300 block, Hickory Ridge. A thief stole $190 from a purse in an unlocked car between 6: 30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday.
Cordage Walk: 10700 block, Hickory Ridge. A group of juveniles stole four bicycles from a fenced yard at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Two bicycles were recovered.
Little Patuxent Parkway: 10600 block, Hickory Ridge. Two men entered a business at 8: 56 a.m. Saturday, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk locked herself in a back room, and the robbers ran when she threatened to call police.
Bright Passage: 11800 block, Hickory Ridge. A thief stole a bike valued at $272 from an open garage between 9: 30 a.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Lightfall Court: 1700 block, Hickory Ridge. An intruder broke into a garage at 10 a.m. Sunday, smashed a car window and stole a purse containing $800 and $1,800 worth of jewelry.
Ellicott City/Elkridge
Lowes Lane and Goshen Hunt Lane: Elkridge. Five intruders entered a house under construction at 9: 30 p.m. Wednesday through a basement door and damaged the walls. Four juveniles and a 20-year-old man were arrested.
Brittany Drive: 4300 block, Ellicott City. A thief broke into a home between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday by breaking a window and opening a door, and stole a VCR and a backpack. The backpack was recovered in Baltimore.
Anderson Ave.: 6300 block, Hanover. A thief entered a house overnight Wednesday through a sliding glass door and stole a purse.
Folly Quarter Road: 12500 block, Ellicott City. A thief broke into a house by prying open the French doors, ransacked the master bedroom and stole a compact disc player, a television and jewelry.
Baltimore National Pike: 10200 block, Ellicott City. A thief broke into a business between 5 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday and stole cash from a cash box.
Sparrow Court: 9600 block, Ellicott City. A thief stole two bicycles, valued at $1,500, from an open garage between 5 p.m. and 9: 30 p.m. Friday.
Centennial Lane: 4200 block, Ellicott City. A vandal set off a fire alarm at a middle school at 4 a.m. Monday, ransacked the library and activated a fire extinguisher.
Millers Way Drive: 2700 block, Ellicott City. Four intruders threw rocks to break two windows of a house under construction at 10: 30 p.m. Saturday and left beer cans in the house. Two men and two female juveniles were arrested.
Old Annapolis Road: 9400 block, Ellicott City. Police received a call yesterday at 4: 40 a.m. about a forced entry into a business. Three men and a woman were arrested near the business.
Jessup
Washington Blvd.: 7900 block, Jessup. Two men entered a business Friday at 9: 30 p.m., displayed a gun to the cashier and demanded money. The cashier refused, threatened to activate the alarm and the men fled.
Guilford Road: 10100 block, Jessup. A thief broke into a detached garage Sunday at 1 p.m. and stole power tools and two bicycles valued at $5,000.
Dorsey Run Road: 8000 block, Jessup. An intruder entered a business between 5: 30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday by cutting a chain-link fence and stole wheels and tires from three cars.
North laurel/Savage
Washington Blvd.: 10100 block, North Laurel. Two intruders entered a business at 3 a.m. Thursday by throwing a brick at the glass door and stole the cash register.
Western Howard
Dorsey Mill Road: 14700 block, Glenwood. An intruder entered a home by breaking glass and opening an unlocked door between noon an 2: 45 p.m. Thursday. Nothing was taken.
Morgan Station Road: 400 block, Woodbine. A homeowner arrived at 6 p.m. Thursday and discovered a thief had broken a screen window and stolen $200 in change, a crossbow and broken watches.
Fairgrounds Road: 2200 block, West Friendship. An 84-year-old man was arrested and charged with exposing himself at the main exhibition hall at noon Wednesday.
Jennings Chapel Road: 2400 block, Woodbine. An intruder broke into a shed at 10 a.m. Tuesday by prying a door latch. Nothing was taken.
