Information wanted on robbery at store

THE BALTIMORE SUN

State police in Westminster are searching for a young man who pulled a knife and robbed the Whistle Stop convenience store in Patapsco on Saturday afternoon after asking for change.

The robbery occurred about 1 p.m. at the store in the 2800 block of Patapsco Road, police said. The man produced a bill for change then pulled a knife as the clerk opened the register.

Police describe the robber as white, about 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a white T-shirt with print on it and floral-print shorts. His car had no rear license plate and was a newer white passenger car, possibly a Nissan or Toyota, police said.
