Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville and Winfield responded at 3: 16 p.m. Tuesday to a gas leak in the 6000 block of Kennard Court. Units were out 77 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Winfield and West Friendship in Howard County responded at 1: 01 p.m. Tuesday to a brush fire on Gaither Road at the county line. Units were out almost three hours.
