Sir Hugh Fish,76, a British environmental engineer who led efforts in the 1970s to clean the River Thames, died May 26 in London. By the mid-1960s, eels were the only fish that could withstand the pollution in the river running through the British capital. Obituaries
Because of limited space and the large number of requests, The Sun regrets that it cannot publish all the obituaries it receives. Because The Sun regards obituaries as news, we give a preference to those submitted within 48 hours of a person's death. It is also our intention to run obituaries no later than seven days after death.
