Mount airy: Firefighters from Mount Airy and Lisbon in Howard County responded at 12: 41 p.m. Wednesday to an oven fire in the 2000 block of Flag Marsh Road. Units were out 15 minutes.

Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield, Sykesville, Mount Airy and Lisbon in Howard County responded at 5: 28 a.m. Wednesday to a nursing home fire in the 1400 block of Buckhorn Road. Units were out 30 minutes.
