"Kids who like knights should read 'Knights'...

THE BALTIMORE SUN

"Kids who like knights should read 'Knights' by Catherine Daly-Weir. It's about a boy named William who wants to grow up and be a knight. I like the swords and all the action."

" 'My Brother Sam is Dead' by James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier is about a Tory family who has a son named Sam, and he wants to be a Patriot. So, he joins the Continental Army. Sam's younger brother Tim is worried about Sam, because he thinks he will surely be killed. This book is historical fiction. It has won a Newberry Honor Award.

This book was very exciting and it was one of the best books I've ever read. I would definitely recommend this book to people who are really into the American Revolution. Once I started to read it I couldn't put it down."

-- Danielle Beauford
