Central District
Burglary: Someone entered the city Police Department's PAL Center in the 1600 block of Madison Ave. on Monday, stole an undisclosed sum of cash and damaged two gum ball machines.
Southwestern District
Theft: After a man cut the hair of a male occupant of a house in the 1700 block of Poplar Grove St. on July 3, he allegedly stole $240 the occupant hid under a living room carpet. The victim reported the theft Tuesday after failing to locate the suspect.
Eastern District
Assaults: A woman, 41, and her daughter, 16, were sitting on the front steps of their home in the 900 block of Webb Court about 1 a.m. Tuesday when two men tried to force their way into the house. When the mother and her daughter tried to stop them, the men struck the females with their fists and a bottle. The men fled, and the victims were treated at Church Hospital for minor injuries.
Northern District
Burglary: A currency and coin collection valued at $400 and a six-pack of beer were stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Clydesdale Ave. on Tuesday by someone who broke through a boarded-up window.
Baltimore County
Woodlawn Precinct
Robbery: Two gunmen robbed the Pizza Hut restaurant in the 2300 block of Dogwood Road about 1: 15 a.m. Tuesday of several hundred dollars. After accosting a male employee outside the building, the gunmen forced him inside, where they locked him and the manager in a bathroom before removing money from an office.
Cockeysville Precinct
Robbery: A man entered General Nutrition Center at Yorktowne Plaza about 6 p.m. Tuesday and ordered an employee to give him the contents of a cash register.
Garrison Precinct
Burglaries: Several pieces of plywood, a ladder and a machine that cuts aluminum siding, all of unknown value, were stolen Tuesday from the construction site of three houses in the 3900 block of Red Deer Circle in Randallstown.
