Fires

Lineboro: Firefighters from Lineboro, Manchester, Hampstead and Pleasant Hill, Pa., responded at 12: 38 a.m. Friday to a building fire in the 5200 block of South Mill St. Units were out one hour.

Lineboro: Firefighters from Lineboro, Manchester, Hampstead and the State Fire Marshal's Office responded at 3: 34 p.m. Thursday to a house fire in the 4100 block of Alesia-Lineboro Road. They found fire in the upstairs bedroom caused by use of a small-gauge extension cord that shorted when plugged into a large air conditioning unit. Damage was confined to the bedroom and was estimated at $5,000.
