Hearing set for hospital land proposals; Forum is only chance for public comment

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Annapolis residents will have an opportunity at 7 tonight to hear four developers present their competing proposals for what to do with the Anne Arundel Medical Center property downtown.

The four proposals are largely residential, but vary in the amount of office and retail space and other details. One calls for assisted-living quarters.

This is the only meeting where the proposals will be shown and discussed and the public can comment, said Minor Carter, president of the Ward 1 Residents Association.

The meeting will be held at the Legislative Services Building, off State Circle across from the State House.
