Homewood Road in Ellicott City will be closed on or about July 30 for about 220 days for replacement of the Homewood Road Bridge over the Middle Patuxent River.

Traffic will be rerouted at Shepherd Lane and Route 108, and a temporary traffic signal installed at the intersection.

The existing bridge was built in 1955.
