The Cloisters

Reservations are now being accepted by Chateau Builders for two new condominium buildings, The Cloisters, being built at the Village Greens at Waverly Woods in Howard County.

The Cloisters will consist of 70 residences and offer five floor plans for two-bedroom and two-bedroom-with-den units. The models will be called The Pinnacle, The Cypress, The Augusta, The Kemper, The Legend and The Doral.

The base price for the models will start in the low $170,000s, and delivery is expected for residents in June 2000.

The buildings will feature a "garage under" design, elevators to each residential level and trash chutes on every floor. Each building has a meeting room with a microwave and refrigerator for resident use.

A variety of services will be available for residents including window washing, house-watching for vacationers and general housekeeping.

Each unit includes a screened porch, 9-foot ceilings, fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a self-cleaning oven, ceramic bath, ceramic or hardwood foyer and crown molding in the living and dining rooms.

The smallest model, The Pinnacle, is 1,311 square feet. It includes a 12-by-12-foot living room, 12-by-12-foot dining room, 10-by-8-foot kitchen, 12-by-15-foot master bedroom and 12-by-13-foot second bedroom.

The largest floor plan, the Doral, is 1,900 square feet.

It features a 13-by-10-foot living room, 14-by-10-foot dining room, 11-by-11-foot kitchen, 13-by-17-foot master bedroom, 12-by-15-foot second bedroom and 10-by-9-foot den.

Take Interstate 695 to I-70 west. Exit at Marriottsville Road and turn right. Take an immediate right onto Warwick Way.

Continue past the clubhouse and turn right on Merion Pond to the Village Greens Information Center.
