County police seek help to solve girl's killing

THE BALTIMORE SUN

TOWSON -- Baltimore County police are seeking the public's assistance to solve the killing of a 13-year-old girl whose body was found last month near a playground in Woodlawn.

Sarah Jane Forrester had been reported missing from a foster-care home three months ago. Her body was discovered May 13 near the Belmont Park Apartments in Woodlawn. The girl -- described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, 102 pounds, with fair skin, brown hair, brown eyes and a nose ring -- had been stabbed and severely beaten, police said.

Forrester was last seen alive in April near the Edgewater Village area of Harford County. Anyone with information about Forrester is asked to call Baltimore County police at 410-887-2198.
