Sport fishers meet
The Pasadena Sportfishing Group will meet at 7: 30 p.m. Monday at the Orchard Beach fire hall, 7549 Solley Road.
The speakers will be Larry Weekly and Mitch Bademan, captains with Canyon Blues Sportfishing Charters, discussing fishing for tuna and mackerel in the offshore areas of Watchapreague and Ocean City. It's a great way for fishermen to learn how to take advantage of the great fishing available off the Maryland and Virginia coasts, said Dave Nolan, PSG spokesman.
PSG meetings are open to fishermen of all ages. Membership is free.
Food and beverages, sold by the Orchard Beach volunteers, will be available starting at 6 p.m.

Traffic committee meets
The Pasadena Traffic Safety Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at George Fox Middle School on Outing Avenue.
Traffic engineers will discuss Duvall Highway improvement projects, traffic-calming proposals and the new law doubling fines in school zones.
Updates on the right-turn lane and sidewalks on Outing Avenue will be discussed.
