The Rev. Roland L. Howard Sr., an Elkridge Democrat, has been appointed by Gov. Parris N. Glendening to a four-year term on the Howard County Board of Election Supervisors.
Howard, 73, was sworn in yesterday at the Circuit Courthouse in Ellicott City. He will join four other board members in overseeing and protecting the integrity of the election process.
Howard has served on the board as a substitute supervisor in years past.
