Harold Baines -- UP -- If the season ended Friday, the 40-year-old would have won the Orioles' Triple Crown. If Baines wore a glove, he'd be considered a modern-day Tony Perez. Very likely the most underrated hitter of his generation.

Doug Johns -- UP -- Winless since last July and in Rochester until May 13, Johns picked up two victories on recent 4-5 road trip. Bonus points for obeying downtown traffic signals.

Dr. Death -- DOWN -- Scott Erickson has averaged 14.5 wins the past four years and he'll earn an average $6.4 million the next four. So why is he averaging fewer than six innings per start and only 0.5 wins per month? Is there a trade in his future?
