The Maryland Jockey Club is sponsoring "Fan Appreciation Day" today at Pimlico, during which fans can watch races from around the world, including the Belmont Stakes.

Gates open at 9: 45 a.m. and admission to the grandstand is free. Hot dogs and soda are being sold for $1, and each fan gets a free race program.
