Dozens of mailboxes damaged, stolen

Maryland State Police in Westminster are offering a reward of up to $250 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of vandals who stole or destroyed dozens of mailboxes early Sunday in Carroll and Frederick counties, and in Adams County, Pa.

Police said the vandals drove through between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. in a pickup truck.

Much of the damage in Carroll County occurred in and around Taneytown, Harney and Mayberry, and along Route 97 between Westminster and Littlestown, Pa. Damage in Frederick County occurred along Bullfrog, Bargis, Bollinger School and Fish Hatchery roads.
