After observing what appeared to be drug activity outside a Southwest Baltimore rowhouse yesterday, police arrested a man, then obtained a search warrant and entered the dwelling, seizing drugs, handguns and money, police said.
Sgt. Scott Rowe, police spokesman, said officers seized four large-caliber handguns; $7,000; cocaine, heroin and marijuana -- with a street value of $1,000 -- and drug paraphernalia from the house in the 2000 block of Hollins St.
Rowe said Jamel Grant, 24, of the 200 block of Herring Court in East Baltimore was arrested and charged with multiple counts of drug possession with intent to distribute and weapons violations.
