Police seek woman, 2 men in Gamber; few details in Westminster burglary

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Three people eluded a police search in the Gamber area yesterday after a residential break-in in which a loaded 9 mm pistol and a 30.06-caliber rifle with scope were stolen, state police said.

Few details were available, said Sgt. J. W. Long, duty officer at the Westminster barracks. Two men and a woman were seen fleeing from the 3900 block of Gamber Road about 11 a.m. in a white Dodge Daytona with orange pinstripes, he said.

Witnesses gave sketchy descriptions, saying the woman had long brown hair and drove the car. They said one of the men had a beard and both had medium builds, police said.

Long said details on a second burglary about 2: 15 p.m. in the 400 block of Hook Road in Westminster were not available.

Someone broke into a house and, among other items, stole a large quantity of silver coins, Long said. Investigators were trying to determine what else was missing, he said.
