Angels update

Anaheim has won two straight but remains under .500 at 21-23. The Angels' bullpen went into Sunday's game leading the majors with a 2.91 ERA, and closer Troy Percival added a scoreless inning in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay. Percival had two saves at Camden Yards last week, as Anaheim took two of three. Todd Greene went 6-for-11 with two homers, and No. 9 hitter Andy Sheets was 5-for-11 with four RBIs. The Orioles won the opener, 5-3, but closer Mike Timlin blew a save the next night and B. J. Surhoff's base-running gaffe contributed to another de- feat. Olivares allowed four runs and 10 hits in 6 2/3 innings. Belcher picked up a victory after going seven innings and allowing four runs. Erickson is 14-3 lifetime against the Angels. He would have notched another win if not for Timlin's blown save. Mo Vaughn has 18 RBIs in his last 10 games. He leads the club with 31 despite missing 14 games because of a sprained ankle. Garret Anderson is hitting .364 (20-for-55) over his last 12 games, and Randy Velarde is batting .304 (21-for-69) in his last 19. (Angels statistics, 6D)
